Anchor Lifting Services Ltd was set up in 2001, and has firmly established itself as a premium lifting equipment services provider throughout the Country. We are based in Roscommon which is ideally located in the centre of Ireland, so that we are strategically positioned to respond to our customer’s needs, with a prompt and efficient service. We stock a compressive range of lifting equipment and related products from our base in Roscommon Town.

Our Company has an unrivalled relationship with all the major lifting equipment suppliers with a special interest in overhead crane and hoist services, repair and maintenance & spare parts. We have access to spares for all the major crane manufactures ensuring a prompt and competitive supply line and we also carry out installation of these parts.
Meet The Team
Tom Cummins is Managing Director of Anchor Lifting Services Ltd since its establishment in 2001. Tom comes from an industrial electrical background and has vast experience and is highly qualified in installation, inspection, testing, servicing and repairs of lifting equipment including overhead cranes, hoists and auxiliary equipment for over 40 years. Tom is qualified to instructor level for WAH and use of overhead crane slinging & rigging principles.
Eamon Cummins joined the company in 2014 and also comes form an industrial electrical background. He has over 15 years of experience in installation, testing, inspections, servicing and repairs of lifting equipment. Eamon is also qualified to instructor level for fork truck training and MEWP.
Jacinta Hanley has been with Anchor Lifting Services Ltd since 2005. As the Office Manager, her primary roles are to liaising and communicating with customers as well as ensuring the office runs smoothly on a daily basis.

Anchor Lifting Services Ltd are proud members of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and are full members since 2010. All full members of LEEA are required to complete annual audits to insure procedure compliance. This ensures that as a business we are up to date with current legislation and helps give our customers confidence when trusting Anchor Lifting Services Ltd.
As a member of the LEEA we are also continuously updated with worldwide lifting equipment issues and have access to leading-edge advice for both ourselves and our customers.

We are reliable, efficient and highly competent in our field of work. We carry out testing on and off-site and have a 10 meter test bed at our premises in Roscommon which can be booked to provide proof load testing and testing to destruction on equipment up to 35 tonnes. We carry out statutory inspections to comply with the approved HSA certification of lifting equipment as per General Application Regulation Act 2007 (GA1). We launched a new certificate portal in 2020 so customers can access certs immediately as soon as the equipment is certified. You can find it at www.sitecert.info
